René Rodríguez

A composer, pianist and visual artist, René Rodríguez studied at the University of Arts of Cuba (ISA) under the composer Carlos Fariñas. His works have premiered at national and international events. As a composer and editor, he has collaborated with filmmakers such as Mayra Zaldívar and Enrique Pineda Barnet. His awards include the Premio UNEAC de composición Alejandro García Caturla and the Award for Best Original Music by the UNESCO Broadcasting Caribbean Festival. He is a member of the Cuban Association of Artists and Writers UNEAC.
